Who Am I?
I’ve worn so many different hats over the years in the creative industry, that my hair has fallen out. Either that or it’s genetics.
From designing local billboards to Vietnamese posters, I’ve done it in print. From hand coding an html website to directing a team of skilled programmers on a major nation-wide site, I’ve done it on the web. From developing an Online Marketing Department to creating a photo meme published in The Atlantic, I’ve done it in marketing. From photographing a rural orange grove for a magazine cover to selling my prints for interior designers, I’ve done it on film (or digital).
I’ve done many things in my creative career, but I’ll never stop trying to do more.

Define and implement design criteria, design guidelines, and design specs that demonstrate experience with industry standards/best practices and corporate visual design guidelines and strategies across desktop software, web, and mobile platforms. Brainstorm, revise and collaborate with an enthusiastic, visually-oriented team. Translate business needs into user experience solutions that meet the needs of a complex organization. Create storyboards, process flows, wireframes, mockups, and experience prototypes to guide development. Iterate designs based on user feedback research, technology constraints, and market dynamics.
Online Campaign Manager
April 2015 to January 2017
Manage internal and client Social Media marketing and advertising campaigns and day-to-day activities. Curate relevant content prospect and CRM databases to reach the company’s and client’s ideal customers. Create, curate, and manage all published sales and information delivery area content (images, video and written). Responsible to design online profiles for the Company (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, websites and blog). Work with Project Managers to design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns. Compile report for management showing results (ROI). Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy. Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the Social Media campaigns. Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results. Awarded Employee of the Month and received promotion for efforts in developing the Online Marketing Department.

Lead creative development and implementation of design concepts, graphics and branding of new company and provide guidance to ensure brand cohesiveness. Develop and manage marketing strategies through SEO, social media, email campaigns, direct mail, radio and promotional events. Design and manage company websites, create retail store interior and exterior signage, produce photography and video content, write advertisements, articles, blogs, and static website content.

In charge of the overall visual appearance of a wide range of client projects that convey a variety of looks, concepts and themes, from university marketing collateral to pro-bono work for charitable foundations. Projects include corporate identity, website design, newsletters, brochures, direct mail, media kits, exhibits and displays, environmental signage and videos.
Graphic Designer / Photographer
December 2005 – December 2009
Involved in all aspects of monthly duties, from design conception to final print production for a fast-paced, multi-magazine publishing company. Responsibilities include defining and prioritizing ad design concepts for as many as 50 clients per magazine cycle, page layout for articles, completing in-house marketing materials, illustrations, web design and online magazines, photography assignments for covers, featured articles, product shots and portraits. Work with clients and senior staff to interpret graphic intent, resulting in clear messages and aesthetics that are delivered to the appropriate audience.

Portrait and candid photographer for graduations, reunions, sports portraits, high school, college and corporate events. Managed a team of photographers and assistants, set up portrait lighting, photography equipment and backdrops on location and interacted with a range of clients.

Photographer for over 250 high school, college and corporate events. In charge of setting up lighting and equipment for portraits and directing other photographers and assistants.
